Extreme Temperature
The extreme temperature research team focuses on exploring the impacts of global climate anomalies on respiratory health. They are committed to integrating environmental science, respiratory medicine, and public health research to systematically analyze the long-term effects of climate change-related factors (such as extreme temperatures and air pollution) on the occurrence, exacerbation, and disease burden of respiratory diseases. In response to the increasingly severe global climate anomalies, the team focuses on the mechanisms by which climate change affects asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung infections, and other respiratory diseases. Through epidemiological studies, big data analysis, and cross-regional research collaborations, they are developing respiratory health risk assessment and early warning models. Through the integration of interdisciplinary research and international collaboration, we aim to deepen our scientific understanding of the interaction between climate change and respiratory health, and to translate research findings into evidence-based public health strategies and clinical recommendations. Each research result reflects our team's long-term commitment to global health, environmental sustainability, and the prevention and control of respiratory diseases, striving to improve overall respiratory health and population resilience.
