2025 Consensus Camp

The center will hold a Thoracic Consensus Camp on March 8, 2025, to promote cooperation and knowledge sharing among different professional teams. International top experts were specially invited to participate, including the Asthma and Pulmonary Fibrosis Team, the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Team, the Lung Cancer Team, the Lung Infection Medicine Team, and the Thoracic Medicine Team, to participate in this grand event.

The Asthma and Pulmonary Fibrosis team focuses on using translational technologies to study asthma and pulmonary fibrosis, delving into the pathological mechanisms, which is crucial for improving patients' quality of life. The Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) team will present their latest advancements in COPD, including early diagnosis, innovative treatment methods, and environmental factors affecting patients. The Lung Cancer team will focus on early screening and precision treatment for lung cancer. They will share their latest research on tumor markers and genomics. The Pulmonary Infection Medicine team will present the latest research related to lung infections, particularly the challenges posed by antibiotic resistance and emerging infectious pathogens. Their presentations will contribute to understanding how to effectively manage these infections clinically. Finally, the thoracic medicine team will explore the diagnosis and treatment of thoracic diseases from a multidisciplinary perspective, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in improving patient outcomes.

During this consensus-building session, teams will not only share their research findings but also delve into future research directions and trends. This includes the application of new technologies, such as the potential of artificial intelligence in diagnosis, and the development of new therapies, such as advancements in targeted therapy and immunotherapy. Furthermore, in-depth discussions will take place on how to overcome current challenges in thoracic disease research. This will foster interdisciplinary collaboration, lay the foundation for future research, and serve as an important platform for knowledge sharing, innovative thinking, and future cooperation. It is hoped that this event will bring new insights and breakthroughs to the research and treatment of thoracic diseases, making a greater contribution to the health and well-being of patients.
