Chairman Ching-Tsai Chen of Win Semiconductors Corporation, in order to help Taipei Medical University continue its investment in thoracic medicine research and protect public health, took the lead by donating NT$20 million annually, totaling NT$100 million over five years, as a research fund for thoracic translational medicine. The TMU Research Center for Thoracic Medicine was renamed the “Chen Wei-Tien Research Center for Thoracic Medicine” in honor of Chairman Chen’s father, with the aim of further advancing research in thoracic medicine.
